Statement:

The text laments the self in our post-viral states. The image portrays subtle mundane movements that reflect the banality of the moment - the washing line airs my split hands as they recover from being over cleaned. The final NHS clap invades the scene until the ambience of the last day usurps this weekly repetition. We are left to consider the stillness and ambience of a fleeting ritual - lost to the wash of the world.
